CodeNxt stands for clean, simple and elegant web solutions leveraging innovative engineering.
CodeNxt Technologies was established in 2008 with the vision to redefine how web sites and web properties are leveraged to contribute towards the business goals of the web site owner.
At CodeNxt we are pretty serious when it comes to user experience and usability. We boast of a team of designers and developers who love what they do and have a passion for innovating constantly. We strive for utilizing this passion for technological innovation to convert into increased profits, visibility and incremental profits for our clients.
The philosophy
Our idea of software is "Control your software or your software controls you !" . In a literal sense, businesses start as small enterprises, and while they grow in volumes and turnover or geographic reach, their information technology infrastructure also grows in concert. While people don't give much thought to what software they use to run their business tasks, at a certain point in the growth cycle they realize that the software they are using is not adequate to their business needs, and also they realize that its too late and they are too much invested into the mediocre software they chose initially. The analogy applies to web site desgin and hosting too.
Hence our philosophy dictates us to take care of two things:
(1) Develop software which is at par with the user expectations and adaptable to his growth path.
(2) In case user wishes to change the software we provided, use open source software, so the vendor switch is effortless.
Above two objectives lead us to use all most all software and technologies we use to be open sourced.

Services rendered by CodeNxt Technologies span across five catagories:
(1) Website design & Hosting
Design of basic/static website, interactive websites, portals, content servers and intranets. Also we provide hosting and e-mail server solutions. Domain registration is provided through third party domain registrars on at cost basis.
We would like to emphasize that CodeNxt Technologies does not focus on website design and development as a standalone activity, so we do not claim to be the slickest web designers around, but we are proud of the leverage that we can get for a business from a website
(2) Web applications for enterprise
We provide web applications development and pre-built configurable web application solutions for enterprise clients ranging from 3 people to 400 people with single location to 80+ locations operating. The primary focus areas in web applications are : Document management systems, Customer service software and ticket based issue tracking system, Online survey systems, HR Management systems, SMS sending solutions and SMS API integration into web applications, implementation of shopping carts and payment gateways into existing websites etc.
The custom web application development efforts are currently focused on the domains of financial services, healthcare, professional services, non government organizations and educational institutions. The solutions delivered currently span from a departmental software (web based) (e.g. purchase or customer service), to end-to-end workflow and process managment systems.
(3) Micro geographic media
CodeNxt Technologies provides micro geographic media services, targeting customer segments in a very specific region ( e.g. new home buyers in mumbai ). This solutions are web based and heavily depend on our in house WPM 2.0 system. The solution provides a platform for small and medium businesses (SMB) to target their communication towards customer segment which is residing in their area of operations, and is interested in their product or service. (4) Web presence management
Web Presence Management 2.0 (WPM 2.0) is the in house system developed at CodeNxt, aimed at getting maximum leverage from a website. An illustration can be : A coaching class operating in a single city with a website uses WPM 2.0. Here the objectives of targeted audience (students aspiring to appear in entrance exams) in a targeted location (city of operations) are managed by WPM 2.0

Please note that WPM 2.0 is not same as SEO (Search Engine Optimization), which is more focused on getting hits and visits on the website. WPM 2.0 is all about funneling and conversion of visitors in the target segment and target geography.

Some of the major technologies we use are AJAX, PHP, MySQL, APACHE Server, CakePHP framework, Django framework, Javascript, LimeSurvey , OsTicket, Netbeans Platform and Python.
All of the above technologies are licensed under GNU GPL Licence or Apache Licence or Creative Commons Licence, all of which are essentially open source versions and hence promote community contributed code which is easy to develop, maintain and migrate to a different vendor if required, all along being much more secure than its equivalent closed source substitutes.
Choice of above technologies implies that you get the cost benefit passed on. And be rest assured that you get best possible value for your money.

At CodeNxt technologies we are always open to attracting design and engineering talent. You can join us if & when you are clear in your mindset that either you are a user interface designer or you are a person who is good at programming.
The art side
On the design front we need people with experience of at least one year in designing and using following technologies:
CSS, HTML, XHTML, LucidChart, GIMP, Joomla templates, Magento templates, Wordpress templates and CakePHP views design.
The code side
On the programming/scripting side we need engineers with experience of at least one year in developing with Python, Django, PHP with MySQL on Apache Server, CakePHP, CodeIgniter, Zend, Symfony, Dabo, Javascript, JQuery, Ajax, GWT (Google Web Toolkit) , Google App Engine, Custom Google Apps development and Android Development
